COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE, COUNTY COUNCIL AND DISTRICT COUNCIL CONVENE VIRTUALLY APRIL 6th FOR SCHEDULED SESSIONS
WSSC Budget Public Hearing Begins at 1:00 p.m.
The Council’s Committee of the Whole (COW), the Prince George’s County Council, and the County Council sitting as the District Council on land use matters will convene virtually on Tuesday, April 6th.
The COW is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. for status updates on matters in the 2021 Maryland General Assembly Session impacting Prince George’s County, including the Operating and Capital Budgets; statewide and local bills; joint priorities; and Maryland Association of Counties (MACo). COW will also include budget work sessions for the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) and People’s Zoning Counsel.
Council session will convene at 11:30 a.m. for the Presentation and Introduction of several legislative measures. Public Hearings for CR-022-2021, legislation concerning the 2018 Water and Sewer Plan; and CR-024-2021, a Resolution concerning the 2020 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development will also be held. At 1:00 p.m. the Council will hold a Budget Public Hearing for the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) proposed Capital Improvement Program for Water and Sewerage for Fiscal Years 2022-2027.
Immediately following Council session, the County Council sitting as the District Council will convene to address Items Referred for Document and Items for Discussion.
