Council Member Wanika Fisher Issues Statement on Fatal Brentwood Fire

District 2 Council Member Wanika Fisher extends her heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the man tragically killed in a Sunday morning house fire in Brentwood.

“This devastating incident highlights the critical importance of having working smoke alarms in every home,” said Council Member Fisher. “I commend the brave members of the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department for their swift response and dedication to protecting our community.”

Residents in need of a free smoke detector can call 301-583-2200 to have one installed by the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department.
