The Council’s Committee of the Whole (COW) will convene virtually on Thursday, March 4th .
The COW is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. with a briefing from Dr. Angela Simms, Professor of Sociology and Urban Studies at Barnard College – Columbia University. Dr. Simms will discuss her dissertation entitled “Power, Privilege and Peril: Governing in a Suburban Majority Black and Middle Class County – A Regional Perspective.” Following the briefing, COW will consider legislation.
