COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE AND COUNTY COUNCIL CONVENE FEBRUARY 23rd; DISTRICT COUNCIL AND M-NCPPC HOLD JOINT PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED HISTORIC SITES IN HYATTSVILLE
The Council’s Committee of the Whole (COW) and the Prince George’s County Council will convene virtually on Tuesday, February 23rd.
The COW is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. for General Assembly updates, to include discussions on statewide, transportation, re-entry and election-law bills. The Committee of the Whole will also receive Maryland Association of Counties (MACo) updates and a briefing on the FY 22 Legislative Branch Budget.
County Council Session will begin at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday’s agenda includes Council review of legislation, Proposed Correspondence, and a public hearing for CB-002-2021, an Act concerning the Compensation Review Board. The Council will also address legislation eligible for adoption.
The Prince George’s County Council sitting as the District Council, the Prince George’s County Planning Board of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission will convene at 5:00 p.m., for a Joint Public Hearing on the Proposed Historic Site Designations of Jones-Sheridan House and Hierling House, both located in Hyattsville.
