COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE, COUNTY COUNCIL AND BOARD OF HEALTH TO CONVENE FEBRUARY 2ND FOR SCHEDULED VIRTUAL SESSIONS AND BRIEFINGS
U.S. Congressman Steny H. Hoyer to Provide Federal Updates During Council Session; Board of Health Receives COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Briefing
The Council’s Committee of the Whole (COW), Prince George’s County Council, and the Council sitting as the Board of Health, will convene virtually on Tuesday, February 2nd.
The COW is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. for General Assembly updates, to include discussions on several statewide and local bills. Council session will begin at 11:15 a.m. with briefing from House Majority Leader, The Honorable Steny H. Hoyer, who will provide a federal update on issues and concerns impacting Prince George’s County.
Council session reconvenes at 4:00 p.m. for the Introduction and Presentation of legislation, and to review Proposed Correspondence, CR-003-2021, concerning Charter Review Commission appointments and CR-009-2021, concerning the Executive appointment for Acting Chief Administrative Officer.
The County Council, sitting as the Board of Health, will convene virtually at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2nd for several briefings, including updates on the County’s COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution; the Laurel Health and Wellness Campus; and Doctor’s Hospital/Luminis Health.
