Briefing Includes Presentations by WMATA General Manager, COG and County Transportation Officials
The Prince George’s County Council will hold a briefing on transportation issues and the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) on Monday, June 13, 2016, at 1:30 p.m., in the Council Hearing Room, First Floor, Council Administration Building, 14741 Gov. Oden Bowie Dr., in Upper Marlboro.
Council Chair Derrick L. Davis (D) – District 6; WMATA Board Chair Jack Evans; and WMATA Prince George’s County Board Member, Malcolm Augustine will provide opening remarks.
Briefing presentations will be provided by WMATA General Manager Paul Wiedefeld; Director of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments Chuck Bean; and the Director of the Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation. Presentations will be followed by Council discussion with closing remarks provided by Council Chair Davis.
