Council to Review Legislation, Address Proposed Correspondence and Receive Briefings on Body Camera Status and the Prince George’s County Forward Task Force Report
The Prince George’s County Council and the Council’s Committee of the Whole (COW) will convene virtually on Tuesday, October 20th.
Council session, scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m., will include the introduction of several measures; proposed correspondence; and two Council Resolutions eligible for adoption, including CR-100-2020, a proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) governing a groundbreaking school construction model for Prince George’s County Public Schools. The Council will also receive briefings from the County Executive’s Police Reform Task Force Co-Chairs on public safety issues, including the status of the Body Worn Camera program, and from the Co-Chairs of the Prince George’s Forward Task Force, the County’s COVID-19 recovery group.
The Council’s Committee of the Whole will convene at 1:00 p.m. for a briefing on Prince George’s County’s 2020-2021 Transmission Facilities Coordinating Committee (TFCC) Telecommunications Master Plan and Fiscal Year 2020 Annual Report.
