PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY COUNCIL SITTING AS THE BOARD OF HEALTH TO CONVENE APRIL 14TH FOR COVID-19 BRIEFING FROM CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION AND COUNTY HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS
Congressman Steny Hoyer, Senator Ben Cardin, Senator Chris Van Hollen, and Congressman Anthony Brown to Brief Prince George’s County Board of Health
The Prince George’s County Council, aided by the use of technology, and in alignment with social distancing guidelines provided by the State of Maryland, will convene virtually as the Board of Health on Tuesday, April 14, at 10:00 a.m.
U.S. Congressman Steny Hoyer; U.S. Senator Ben Cardin; U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen; and U.S. Congressman Anthony Brown will discuss the impact of COVID-19, and the federal response.
Leadership representing hospital providers serving Prince George’s County - the University of Maryland Capital Region Health (UMCRH); Doctors Community Hospital of Luminis Health; Medstar Southern Maryland Hospital Center; Kaiser Permanente; and Adventist Healthcare Fort Washington Medical Center, will also brief the Board of Health on Tuesday.

This meeting format is consistent with Maryland’s Open Meetings Act and restrictions resulting from the state of emergency declared by Governor Hogan.
