Council to Focus on Legislative Priorities and Goals for 2020
The Prince George’s County Council will hold its 2020 Annual Retreat on Tuesday, January 21st and Wednesday, January 22nd, at The Hotel at the University of Maryland, 7777 Baltimore Avenue in College Park, Maryland. Sessions are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. each day.
During the two-day retreat, Council Members, County leaders, invited guests and staff will receive updates on a variety of Council-related initiatives including, School Funding and Construction, Workforce Development; Grants; Oversight and Policy Analysis; and Housing Opportunities for All. Additional topics of discussion include the Countywide Map Amendment; Census Complete Count and legislative priorities for 2020.
The Council’s 2020 Annual Retreat is an open meeting and the public is invited to attend.
