Work Group to Address Housing Policies in Prince George’s County
The Prince George’s County Housing Opportunities for All Work Group, established by Council Resolution CR-16-2019, will convene its first meeting on Monday, July 29, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at the RMS Building, 1400 McCormick Drive, in Rooms 306/308, in Largo.
The Housing Opportunities for All Work Group will consist of up to 19 individuals representing government, not-for-profit and industry stakeholders and will be co-chaired by the Chair of the County Council (or their designee) and the Director of the Department of Housing and Community Development. The Work Group is charged with assisting the County in setting priorities and implementing the County’s Comprehensive Housing Strategy final report entitled “Housing Opportunities for All” for Prince George’s County. The Work Group will also make recommendations on any proposed legislation or amendments under consideration by the County to existing housing policies and legislation.
