Annual Black History Month Celebration – “The Power of One”
In observance of Black History Month 2019, the Prince George’s County Council will host “The Power of One” on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., in the Council Hearing Room, First Floor, County Administration Building, 14741 Governor Oden Bowie Drive, in Upper Marlboro. This event is free, and the public is encouraged to attend.
Author, motivational speaker, and Legislative Branch staff member, Gillie Haynes, will serve as keynote speaker. Featured guests include saxophonist Langston Hughes, and the Studio 7 Dance Company.
