Prince George’s County Council Member Obie Patterson (D) – District 8, will host the District 8 Community Health Fair” on Saturday, September 23, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Southern Regional Technology and Recreational Complex, 7007 Bock Road in Fort Washington. Maryland.
The day’s events will feature more than 40 vendors representing a wide variety of health and wellness services. Health care representatives, including physicians, will be on site offering free medical, dental and vision screenings. Residents will also have the opportunity to participate during family-friendly physical fitness activities. Sessions focusing on a variety of subjects, including health conditions, treatment options, mental health and domestic violence will also be held throughout the day.

The District 8 Community Health Fair is an opportunity for residents to access vital information and receive free health screenings in one convenient location. The District 8 Community Health Fair, held in partnership with Dimensions Health Care System, Fort Washington Wellness Center, Capital Area Food Bank, Prince George’s County Department of Parks and Recreation and the Kappa Foundation of Fort Washington, is free and open to all Prince George’s County residents.
