Community-Wide Event Encourages Environmental
Awareness and Community Pride
Prince George’s County Council Member Todd M.
Turner (D) – District 4, will partner with the Community Association of South
Bowie for a District 4 “Clean Up Green Up!” event on Saturday, April 29, 2017
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. The group will
meet at 10:00 a.m. at Evangel Cathedral, 13901 Central Avenue in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
The day’s event, part of Prince George’s
County’s “Clean Up Green Up” annual program, will bring together Council
District 4 staff, students and members of the community to remove debris on
Church Road between Delcastle Drive and Jennings Mill Drive in Bowie.
Council Member Turner encourages residents to
participate in this community-wide event.
"The County’s ‘Clean Up Green Up!’ event
is an activity where every resident may participate. We are not just picking up trash along a
roadway, we are playing an active role in making our communities the best they
can possibly be. I encourage every
resident to participate in this event and help make a difference. ”
