COUNCIL CHAIR DAVIS ISSUES STATEMENT ON PAID SICK LEAVE
The approval by the General Assembly and State Senate to extend paid sick leave is a tremendous step forward for working families across the state of Maryland. No employee should have to make a choice between being able to take care of a sick child or having to go to work due to their inability to take leave from their job. Now that the Maryland General Assembly has done its part to help families in Prince George’s County and across Maryland, the entire Prince George's Council urges Governor Hogan to sign this bill.
