Parents and Students Encouraged to Attend for Information on Social Media Safety
Prince George’s County Council Member Todd M. Turner (D) – District 4, in partnership with the Bowie High School Parent Teacher Organization, will present the social media workshop #GetHipOnSocialMedia on Tuesday, March 21, at 7:00 p.m., Bowie High School, 15200 Annapolis Road in Bowie, Maryland.
The #GetHipOnSocialMedia event will feature presentations from the Prince George’s County Police Department; Prince George’s County Office of the State’s Attorney; and the Family Online Safety Institute. Representatives will share information on the benefits, dangers, and overall safety concerning social media use.
