[ARCHIVED] COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC SAFETY AND FISCAL MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE CONVENES SEPTEMBER 29

The Prince George’s County Council Committee on Public Safety and Fiscal Management (PSFM) will convene on Thursday, September 29, 2016, 12:30 p.m. in the County Administration Building, Council Committee Room 2027, 14741 Governor Oden Bowie Drive in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

September 29th PSFM Committee meeting agenda items include the following proposed legislation:

LEGISLATION:

CB-065-2016 AN ACT CONCERNING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN FOR PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY for the purpose of upgrading existing classes of work.

CB-077-2016 AN ACT CONCERNING HOTEL AND MOTEL TAX for the purpose of designating a portion of the County's revenue from the imposition of the hotel and motel tax be reserved for appropriation to the Prince George's Conference and Visitors Bureau.

CR-063-2016 A RESOLUTION CONCERNING COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS, INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIRE FIGHTERS, AFL-CIO, LOCAL 1619 (FIRE FIGHTERS, PARAMEDICS, AND FIRE FIGHTER/MEDICS) SALARY SCHEDULE Y, SCHEDULE OF PAY GRADES for the purpose of amending the Salary Plan of the County to reflect the terms of the labor agreement by and between Prince George’s County, Maryland and the International Association of Fire Fighters, AFL-CIO, Local 1619 (Fire Fighters, Paramedics, and Fire Fighter/Medics).

CR-067-2016 A RESOLUTION CONCERNING SENIOR HOMEOWNERS AND TAX SALE for the purpose of establishing a policy to require the County to keep a list of all real property scheduled for tax sale for property owners 65 years old and above and to provide the list to the Department of Family Services for outreach services.
