South, North, and Central County Meetings to Focus on Improving Public Safety, Building New Schools, and Fostering Economic Growth
Council Member Mel Franklin (At-Large), will host three 1st Quarter Advisory Neighborhood Community (ANC) Meetings during the month of February in Oxon Hill, Greenbelt and Largo for residents in southern, northern, and central Prince George’s County. The ANC Initiative is a countywide community engagement and volunteer service initiative of Council Member Franklin designed to empower residents with information and encourage community advocacy.
Council Member Franklin says the ANC Meetings present an important opportunity for “solutions-based” community conversations about the County’s most pressing issues.
"The three biggest issues confronting Prince George's County's future are improving public safety, investing in public education, and creating economic growth in the post-COVID-19 economy. I hope residents all across the county will join us at these critical upcoming solutions-based town hall meetings. We are one Prince George's County and we will rise together."
All meetings are free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged, but not required. To register, members of the public should click the links below. For additional registration information, please call 301-952-2638 or email mfranklin1@co.pg.md.us.
