COUNTY COUNCIL TO VOTE ON M-NCPPC EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENT; COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE TO CONVENE DURING HYBRID SESSIONS ON TUESDAY, MARCH 29th 

The Prince George’s County Council’s Committee of the Whole (COW) and the County Council will convene hybrid sessions – both virtually and in person - on Tuesday, March 29th.

The COW, convening at 10:00 a.m., will receive Maryland General Assembly and MACo legislative updates.  The COW will also address CB-007-2022, legislation concerning the addition of two Capital Projects and Supplementary Appropriations.  

The County Council will convene at 11:30 a.m., to review Proposed Correspondence and legislation.  Council Members will also address County Executive Angela Alsobrooks’ appointment of Peter Shapiro to the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) for Prince George’s County, which is eligible for a final vote. CR-024-2022, legislation addressing the Public Facilities and Transportation and Mobility Elements of the Preliminary Adelphi Road-UMGC-UMD Purple Line Station Area Sector Plan will be introduce and is eligible for adoption.
