[ARCHIVED] COUNTY COUNCIL TO CONVENE JULY 14th FOR SCHEDULED VIRTUAL SESSION; COW TO REVIEW LEGISLATION

The Prince George’s County Council, supported by technology, will convene a virtual Council session on Tuesday, July 14th at 11:00 a.m. The Council’s Committee of the Whole (COW) will meet following Council session at 12 noon to review proposed legislation.

The County Council agenda for July 14th includes a Joint Public Hearing on the proposed historic site designation of Teed House, held by the District Council and the Planning Board of the National Capital Park and Planning Commission (N-CPPC). Following the public hearing, the Council will present and introduce several measures; address proposed correspondence; and hold public hearings for a wide range of Council Bills and a Council Resolution, prior to a vote.

The Council’s COW will review the following proposed legislation:

  • CR-053-2020 A RESOLUTION CONCERNING PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY ENTERPRISE ZONE
  • CR-062-2020 A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY FOOD SECURITY TASK FORCE
  • CR-063-2020 A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE APPROVAL OF A CERTAIN REFUNDING PLAN OF THE WASHINGTON SUBURBAN SANITARY COMMISSION
  • CB-039-2020 AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING C-S-C ZONE
  • CB-040-2020 AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING EATING OR DRINKING ESTABLISHMENTS
  • CB-041-2020 AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING R-R ZONE--LOT COVERAGE REGULATIONS
  • CR-046-2020 A RESOLUTION CONCERNING FISCAL YEAR (“FY”) 2021 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN FOR HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
  • CR-047-2020 A RESOLUTION CONCERNING FISCAL YEAR (“FY”) 2021 - 2025 CONSOLIDATED PLAN
  • CR-060-2020 A RESOLUTION CONCERNING LANDLORD-TENANT CODE - PROHIBITION OF RENT INCREASES, RENTAL TERMINATIONS AND LATE FEES DURING THE COVID-19 PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS
  • CB-052-2020 AN EMERGENCY ACT CONCERNING TO REINSTATE THE DEFINITION OF TENANT PRIOR TO THE ADOPTION OF CB-16-2020, WHICH PROHIBITED CERTAIN ACTS DURING THE COVID-19 PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS
  • CR-045-2020 A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE 2018 WATER AND SEWER PLAN (MARCH 2020 CYCLE OF AMENDMENTS)
