[ARCHIVED] Council Member Watson Invites Residents to Attend Annual "Pick It UP!" Event

Second Annual Clean Up Event Brings Communities Together

 

Prince George’s County Council Member Ingrid S. Watson (District 4) is inviting community members to join her for her second annual "Pick It UP!" anti-litter and beautification event on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.mat Presley Manor, 7171 Presley Road, Lanham, 20706 and Glenn Dale Commons, 7626 Buzz Aldrin Lane, Glenn Dale, 20706.  The clean-ups will run concurrently.

The Pick It Up! clean up event will bring residents together to pick up trash and litter around the community promoting a cleaner environment for everyone to enjoy.  

 

As a dedicated advocate for a cleaner and greener community, Council Member Watson is passionate about addressing the issue of litter in our neighborhoods. She believes that by working together, we can make a positive impact on our streets, parks, and public spaces.

 

"I am excited to once again host this community clean-up day and see District 4 residents come together to make a difference," said Council Member Watson. "A couple hours of work makes a lasting impact on our neighborhoods, and I encourage community members of all ages to join us.”
