State’s Attorney Aisha Braveboy, Prince George’s County Chief of Police Malik Aziz, Sheriff John B. Carr, Fire Chief Tiffany Green, and Maryland State Senator Malcolm Augustine – Featured Special Guests

Prince George’s County Council Member Wanika Fisher (District 2) will host a Public Safety Town Hall on Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Fire Station 855 Bunker Hill, 3716 Rhode Island Avenue, In Brentwood.

The Public Safety Virtual Town Hall event will feature State’s Attorney Aisha Braveboy, Police Chief Malik Aziz, Sheriff John Carr, Fire Chief Tiffany Green, and Maryland State Senator Malcolm Augustine. In addition to receiving public safety updates and information related to Prince George’s County and its District 2 communities, residents will have an opportunity to ask questions and share community concerns with Council Member Fisher and town hall featured guests.

Council Member Fisher says the town hall event is an opportunity for residents to discuss issues, engage with government, and contribute to the public safety conversation.

“District 2 has its fair share of public safety challenges, and it is important to work with the community to ensure that those challenges are being effectively addressed. Residents will hear from our County’s top law enforcement officials, and there will also be opportunities to ask questions and have concerns directly addressed. We are focused on issues, but more importantly, we want to work on solutions that reduce violence, build trust, and make our communities safer. We look forward to an informative evening.”

This town hall event is free and open to the public. For additional information, contact Councildistrict2@co.pg.md.us or 301.952.4436.
