Council Member Watson Hosts Business Breakfast for Greenbelt Business Owners and Entrepreneurs

Council Member Ingrid S. Watson (District 4) is excited to announce her second “Keeping District 4 Business Friendly” breakfast meeting aimed at fostering collaboration and providing valuable resources for business owners, from startups to well-established community businesses in Greenbelt and District 4.  This event will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 6400 Ivy Lane, Greenbelt, MD 20770.   

This FREE event will provide attendees the opportunity to hear essential information from key county agencies, offer a platform for local business owners to introduce themselves and network with peers, as well as engage in Q& A sessions with county representatives. You must be registered to attend.  

The Business Breakfast will feature presentations from the Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement (DPIE), Office of Procurement, FSC First, and Employ Prince George’s.  Other organizations represented at the breakfast include the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation, City of Greenbelt and the Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce.

“Supporting our local businesses is a priority,” said Council Member Watson.  “This breakfast will serve as a valuable opportunity for entrepreneurs and established business owners to connect with key resources and fellow business leaders to foster an even stronger business community in Greenbelt.”
