Council Member Fisher to Host Domestic Violence Coffee Chat with Sheriff John Carr

Prince George’s County Council Member Wanika Fisher (District 2), Chair of the Health and Human Services Committee, is partnering with Prince George’s County Sheriff John Carr to host a Domestic Violence Coffee Chat to address domestic violence prevention, community resources, and law enforcement response efforts. This critical conversation will take place on Wednesday March 26, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Chick-fil-A, 8813 Woodyard Rd, Clinton, MD 20735.

Residents will have the opportunity to engage directly with law enforcement and local officials to discuss strategies for improving community safety and offering support for survivors. Sheriff Carr will share insight on current efforts to address domestic violence and offer resources and information for those in need of assistance. 

This event is part of Council Member Fisher’s ongoing commitment to fostering safer communities through open dialogue, collaboration, and education. Community members, advocates, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and contribute to this important conversation.
