Dear Neighbors of District 2, 

It was a very busy and active start for the County Council, and for me as your District 2 Council Member! It is my privilege to serve you. I continue to work daily to honor your trust by extending priority attention to the needs and concerns of our residents and communities in District 2. 

The Council has been meeting weekly to consider legislation, make land-use decisions, discuss health policy, review and adopt a new County spending plan, receive public testimony and presentations, conduct briefings and more! 

Additionally, to keep us engaged and connected, I have held numerous community events across District 2, and I want to thank everyone for participating and working with me to improve our Quality of Life. Everything works better when we do it together! 

In this newsletter, you will find a quick review of District 2 happenings that have taken place across the community. Also included is a summary of FY 2024 budget victories I have secured for our district. 

Thank you again for being an active part of our community. Whether it was calling our office with an enforcement issue, expressing your concerns at one of my listening sessions, attending a community event, or testifying before the County Council, I deeply appreciate your partnership and dedication to making District 2 an even more incredible place to call home.
