Council Member Sydney J. Harrison invites the community to the District 9’s Community Cleanup, Shred & Bulk Trash Day! Join us this Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Bring your unwanted documents for secure shredding and bulky trash items for proper disposal as we work together to keep our community clean and beautiful. 2nd Annual Overnight Boys Mentoring and S.T.E.M. Camp

Council Member Sydney J. Harrison is proud to announce that the application deadline for the 2nd Annual Overnight Mentoring & STEM Boys Camp has been extended to Saturday, June 14, 2025! There’s still time to register middle school boys (grades 6–8) for this incredible and completely FREE experience taking place from July 30 to August 2, 2025.

In partnership with Manhood 101, this free camp offers an incredible chance for boys, in grades 6-8, to engage in mentoring, S.T.E.M. activities, team building activities, and vision placemaking for our young campers, providing them with valuable skills and experiences.

Registration will open on April 1 and will conclude on June 14. Space is limited, so do not miss out on this amazing opportunity!
