Council Member Ingrid S. Watson (District 4) is honored to be a featured speaker at the upcoming Greater Washington Region Clean Cities Coalition (GWRCCC) Clean Energy and Transportation Annual Conference on Thursday, October 23. The conference runs from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Martin’s Crosswinds, 7400 Greenway Center Drive, Greenbelt, MD 20770.
The conference is the premier clean energy, transportation, and alternative fuels event in the region. Attendees will discover the latest innovations in clean energy and transportation, while taking part in networking and educational opportunities.
Council Member Watson will speak during the Awards Luncheon, scheduled to take place from 12:10-1:30 PM. She will share what Prince George’s County is doing to take advantage of an evolving energy landscape and discuss legislation passed by the Council to set the stage for future large-scale electric vehicle use.
