Prince George' County Council Member Wala Blegay will host a virtual federal worker forum on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM via Zoom.

This forum will provide an opportunity for federal employees and stakeholders to hear directly about legislative efforts to safeguard their rights and ensure a strong, independent federal workforce. With an exemplary record of defending federal workers and protecting the integrity of the civil service, Congressman Hoyer will share insights on how Congress is responding to these attacks. We are also pleased to have Otis Johnson, National Vice President of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), joining the discussion to provide his insight and perspective on the advocacy efforts of federal employee unions and the fight to protect workers rights.
