Join Prince George's County Council Member At-Large Calvin S. Hawkins, II for a community peace walk to stop gun violence.

The community is invited to participate in this call to action against gun violence. In collaboration M.A.D (Making A Difference) and Tre5Magic, the walk will begin at San Carlos Bakery, located at 4047 Silver Hill Road in Suitland at 8:00AM. Participants will walk to Suitland Community, located at 5600 Regency Lane, in Suitland, Maryland. The walk follows a community meeting hosted by Council Member At-Large Hawkins in July, 2024 in response to a deadly shooting in the Village at Town Square that took the life of a teenager.

There will be music, food, and community organizations on site to distribute helpful resources. Join the Hawkins Team in promoting a safer, stronger and more connected community.
