"It was a pleasure to meet again with public safety leaders and my counterparts from surrounding counties to focus on collaborative public safety initiatives. Today’s meeting included Anne Arundel Police Chief Amal Awad, Maryland State Police Superintendent Col. Roland Butler, Anne Arundel County Council Chair Pete Smith, Baltimore County Council Chair Julian Jones, Baltimore City President Nick Mosby, Montgomery County Council Chair Evan Glass and Everett Browning with the Maryland Democratic Party. Howard County Council Chair Christiana Rigby has also been part of these meetings. I look forward to continuing the conversation with these great leaders in effort to reach joint agreement on public safety initiatives.”
