[ARCHIVED] PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY COUNCIL TO CONVENE TUESDAY, MARCH 21ST AT 2:30 P.M.

Private Security Camera Incentive Program Legislation Scheduled for Public Hearing and Final Council Vote; Property Standards Enforcement, Permitting and Inspections Town Hall This Week 

 

The Prince George’s County Council will convene on Tuesday, March 21st at 2:30 p.m.  Council session will include the presentation and introduction of measures, and the review of Proposed Correspondence.  Among legislative measures scheduled for public hearings on Tuesday and/or eligible for final vote: 

 

CB-008-2023, proposed legislation establishing a Private Security Camera Incentive Program  encouraging businesses and homeowners to set up cameras to increase security surveillance.

 

CR-020-2023, a Resolution concerning Minor Master Plan Amendment and SMA Initiation-2006 approved Master Plan and SMA for the Henson Creek-South Potomac Planning Area.

 

Council Members will also receive a Covid Relief Funds Disaster Grant briefing update from Office of Homeland Security Director, Ronnie Gill.

6:00 p.m. Property Standards Enforcement, Permitting and Inspections Town Hall

  • CB-032-2023 – An Act concerning Better Bag Bill
  • CR-009-2023 – A Resolution concerning Watershed Protection and Restoration 

 

1:30 p.m. Government Operations and Fiscal Policy Committee (GOFP) 

 

  • CB-035-2023 An Act concerning the Classification Plan for Prince George’s County
  • CB-041-2023 proposed legislation revoking the establishment of a business improvement district in the Northern Gateway
